A3G designed a new home on the site where a historic home was lost to a fire. Although the home was destroyed, the homeowners wanted their new home to keep as many period elements as possible.
The new one-and-a-half-story craftsman home, of roughly 4,000 sf, was reconstructed from the ground up and features previous period features including built-in bookcases and a wrap-around stone and wood porch. A main floor master bedroom and bath were key first floor elements, along with an open kitchen/dining room, mud/laundry room, living room and half bath. The second story accommodates three additional bedrooms and a full hall bath. The project was finalized with a three-car garage and a loft space above.
