INTERIOR DESIGNER
Melanie Torres started her education at Saint Charles Community College graduating with an Associates degree in Fine Arts. After completing community college she knew she wanted to continue her education so she transferred schools and completed a degree in Interior Design at Park University. Constant sketches of buildings and floor plans always filled her sketchbook.
Prior to working in the format of an architecture firm, Melanie worked in the food industry as a general manager for Chick-fil-a and Culver’s. Those positions have allowed her to gain experience in management, store layout for new stores, and customer service. While working as a general manager she worked for a Residential Design/ Build company as a designer. This position allowed her to gain experience in showroom management, retail display, residential design, space planning and material selection.
