A3G recently completed the Sugar Kittens Café and Cattery in Liberty, Missouri. This unique concept is popping up around the country as place for kittens and cats to live in “Cat Lounge Hangout” while waiting to be adopted. Visitors can enjoy a sweet treat and schedule a time to play with the kitties. If you are looking for a new furry friend you can get a feel for their personality before you take them home or if you can’t have a cat for some reason it allows you to have play time with cuddly kitties.
This 1,330 square feet space includes a retail area filled with unique and fun cat themed items, a cafe that features sweet treats from local bakeries, espresso drinks, bubble tea and a variety of ice cream flavors. The featured space is the Cat Lounge Hangout where there is a variety of soft seating, cat trees, walls climbing and kitty wall playgrounds. This space is flooding with natural light and the cats have a variety of places to perch, play and sleep. The owners wanted to use bright colors to create a playful environment that is fun for all ages.
The company’s goal is to create a positive impact in the community by having an environment that allows individuals to get to know the cats and to bond before adopting.
